Clarisonic Mia2 Review

I have had my eye on the Clarisonic Mia2 Skin Cleansing System for a few years now, however I just never had it in my budget to spend that amount of money ($150) on a product might not like. While talking to my mom I mentioned that it was something I’ve wanted but I always forget to ask for it when my birthday or Christmas comes along. Much to my delight she said she had bought one, found she never used it and that I could have it! Score!

I know it has nothing to do with how well this works, but I love the pattern of the Clarisonic I have. It is so cute, girly and so me. The sets being sold right now do not include the exact same things as the one I received although it is similar. The one I received came with the following…

Clarisonic package

Pink clarisonic, two standard brush heads, traveling case, two of the Clarisonic branded Refreshing Gel Cleanser, and not pictured is the charger.

Ok, down to the nitty gritty…

The instructions recommend that you start out using it twice a week and build up from there. That is too much work for me so I just started using it every morning and sometimes at night as well. Even when I use it twice a day it doesn’t make my skin raw or red like other exfoliants.

The face wash provided was good. I would call it average. It was a great middle of the line face wash that was a smart choice to include as a package set. Especially since it is fragrance free. That being said, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing any more now that I’ve run out.

Washing my face with this in the morning leaves my skin so soft and bright looking. It gives me such a clean slate to put my makeup on and I find my makeup actually wears better. If I get lazy and forget to wash my face I tend to get dry patches around my chin and jawbone. One wash with this and those dry patches are gone! No need for a harsh exfoliant. Actually, ever since using this everyday I stopped using any other kind of exfoliant.

Needless to say, I absolutely LOVE the Clarisonic! If I had had a blog last year I would have named this my product of 2014.

Tell me what you think...
